Each morning of Gozo Michelle will hold space for any Gozo writers who’d like to write quietly, alone, in the company of others. Drop in anytime from 8:30-9:45.
10 – 1pm Writing Workshop
1:30 – 2:45pm Lunch and Siesta
3 – 6pm Creative Workshop
*7pm Closing Dinner on Thursday
Day 4
7:30 – 9:30am Breakfast & Coffee in the hotel courtyard – drop in anytime during this window.
8:40am Depart to Monte Alban
9 – 1pm Monte Alban archaeological site and lunch
1:30 – 3pm Lunch and Siesta
3 – 6pm Free time OR 1-on-1 with Michelle

What's
Included
A fee of $1100* USD includes:
– accommodation for 5 nights in double occupancy* in a centrally located hotel in Oaxaca City
– welcome dinner on Sunday, breakfast and lunch Monday through Thursday, farewell dinner on Thursday, breakfast on Friday
– activities with artists and writing workshops as per the itinerary
– excursion to Monte Alban
* Single occupancy is an additional $200 USD
Fees do not include travel to Oaxaca or to and from the airport upon arrival.
Optional Extension
Join us for the weekend of Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, September 29 to explore around Oaxaca.
On Saturday, June 28, 2025, we’ll visit a few different handicraft villages in the Oaxaca valley, including San Bartolo Coyotepec to see the black pottery, San Martin Tilcajete to visit a family of woodcarvers, San Tomas Jalieza to see weaving on the backstrap loom, and we’ll make a stop in Santa Catarina Minas to see how mezcal is made in the traditional way. On Sunday, June 29, 2025, we’ll visit Mitla archaeological site, Teotitlan del Valle weaving village, and market day in Tlacolula.
The cost for the optional extension is $480 USD and includes accommodation for the nights of June 27, 28, and 29, breakfast, lunch, and excursions (transportation, guide service and admission fees) on June 28 and 29.
